Senior Adult Ministry
Forever Young is a senior adult ministry focused on mentoring, service, and walking alongside of the younger generations as together we mature in Christ, following in the footsteps of Jesus.
The righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
They are planted in the house of the Lord;
they flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bear fruit in old age;
they are ever full of sap and green,
to declare that the Lord is upright;
he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
The Forever Young ministry centers around both peer-to-peer and inter-generational activities, emphasizing:
- Fellowship with and assimilation of senior adults
- Involvement of senior adults in meaningful ministry and service
- Facilitation of the continued growth of senior adults in the areas of spiritual maturity and discipleship.
The goal of all activities is to encourage seniors to shine the light of Jesus and fulfill His mission of serving, rather than being served.
