Jacob Dowdy grew up in Gadsden, AL involved in choir, band, and theatre; developing his love of music. He began his work in Worship Ministry while at Freed-Hardeman University where he graduated with a degree in Music Education.
Jacob manages the Guest Experience Team, Media & Production Teams, and the Worship Team. Together they work to craft worship experiences that reach beyond regular services. Their main goal is that the Hardin Valley family would be so enamored in total praise and adoration of God, both together and apart, that they would perceptibly reflect God.
Jacob is married to his high school sweetheart, Andee, and they have two children. He enjoys playing music, watching a good TV show, playing board games with friends, and going to Disney World... but mostly going to Disney World.
