Larry began working in ministry in June 1976. While playing football at the University of Florida,, he was hired by University City CoC in Gainsville to work as a Youth Minister and develop a Campus Ministry. That sparked an undying love for ministry. He later earned his Master of Arts in Ministry from Southern Christian University.

He is involved in community outreach ministries, teaching, leading services for retirement center residents, needs-based seminars (Grief Share, Trauma Reboot, Divorce Recovery), and other community ministry efforts.

Larry and wife Linda have 5 children and 14 wonderful grandchildren. He loves outdoor sports, gardening, and grilling.
