Mandy has the great joy of saying she grew up at HVCoC. She attended Milligan College and earned her undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Development with K-6 teaching licensure and K-12 ESL licensure. She is currently working toward her graduate degree in Children's Ministry at Dallas Baptist University.
Mandy and the Children's Ministry Team plan events from VBS, Dinner and a Show, the Christmas pageant, Mother's Day Tea, Father's Day Cornhole Tournament, Valentines events, to countless other seasonal and annual Children's Ministry events. Together they also coordinate weekly Sunday school classes, children's church, and Children's Bible Hour on Wednesday nights.
Mandy and her husband, Derek, have one son. Mandy loves hiking, coordinating events for the Knoxville Princess Parties, and spending time with friends and family.
